Haryana Invites Applications for Scholarship from Scheduled Castes Girl Students

Chandigarh (Haryana Live): Haryana Government has invited applications for scholarship from the girl students belonging to scheduled castes under the Anusuchit Jati Chattra Ucch Shiksha Protsahan Yojana

Chandigarh (Haryana Live): Haryana Government has invited applications for scholarship from the girl students belonging to scheduled castes under the Anusuchit Jati Chattra Ucch Shiksha Protsahan Yojana

The last date of submission of application forms will be February 23, 2010

Information to this effect was shared by Haryana Education and Social Welfare Minister Mrs. Geeta Bhukkal that the girl students on admission to various courses/ classes would be given scholarship according to their eligibility

Mrs. Geeta Bhukkal said that the hosteller and non-hosteller students studying in Diploma in Technical/Professional courses after 10+2 like B.C.A, Nursing, D-pharma, B.Ed and D.Ed, (JBT) etc would be given Rs. 7000 and Rs. 5000 respectively and the
hosteller and non-hosteller students studying in Graduation in Commerce and Science courses like B.com, B.sc first to final year would be given Rs. 9000 and Rs. 7000 respectively.

Similarly, the hosteller and non-hosteller students studying in Graduation in Technical/Professional courses like B.E, B. Tech – IT, Computer, Mechanical, Electronics, Information and Technology and Electrical from first to final year and students of B.C.A, C.A, I.C.W.A and CS would be given Rs. 11,000 and Rs. 9000 respectively.

Those hosteller and non-hosteller students studying in Post Graduation in Science, Commerce courses like M.Com, MBA, M.Sc etc would be given Rs. 12,000 Rs. 10,000 respectively and the hosteller and non-hosteller students studying in Post Graduation in Technical and Profession courses like M.E, M.Tech, M.A, M.D etc would be given Rs. 14,000 Rs. 12,000 respectively.

Application forms could be received free of cost from the office of District Welfare Officer and any information regarding  schemes  related to scheduled castes and backward classes could be obtained from website of the department
